June 29, 2009-Wow!
What a week! Such tragedy in the fact that two American icons died
on the same day. I remember watching "Charlie's Angels" on TV every
week. Farrah was such a gorgeous woman. Recently I watched her
"Story" and was saddened by her pain.
I was then shocked several hours later
when I heard that Michael Jackson was dead. That came completely out
of nowhere. I liken this to when Elvis died. I was only 11 when that
happened and my oldest son Paul is 11 now. I think he'll remember
this for a long time. I loved Michael Jackson's music. I know almost
all his songs by heart. Yes, he was a bit of an eccentric later on,
but he was a fantastic entertainer and songwriter. The world will
miss both icons.
In other news, most things are packed away
and we're getting ready for our move. I'll be out of town July 4-11.
